Kia ora! I’m Jane.
For nearly 30 years, my backyard has been the New Zealand tourism and hospitality industry, including 12 years owning and operating my own accommodation and adventure tourism businesses.
I know the thrill of welcoming guests to our beautiful country, and I know exactly what it’s like to wear every single hat in a busy operation.
The Turning Point
Like most Kiwi operators, I quickly realised that just having a website wasn’t enough.
A website shouldn't just sit there looking pretty; it needs to roll up its sleeves and work for you, attracting visitors, answering their burning questions, and turning casual browsers into confirmed bookings.
Over the years, I hired various designers and agencies. While some were brilliant, most were incredibly expensive or failed to capture the true essence of my business. I grew frustrated with paying top dollar for complex sites that, while beautiful, relied on high ongoing costs for seasonal updates.
So, in true Kiwi fashion, I decided to roll up my sleeves and figure it out myself.
Passion Meets Practicality
What started as a business necessity quickly turned into a genuine passion. I taught myself how to build and manage sites that put the customer journey first. Since selling my businesses, I’ve taken those skills to the next level, building and maintaining large-scale tourism websites, managing complex product updates, and keeping online platforms seamless and stress-free.
From attending TRENZ and TIA Trade events to working with Tourism New Zealand, I’ve been lucky enough to see our industry from many perspectives. I know what international and local visitors are looking for when they land on your page.
